Under the theme of "Empowering the Youth of The United Bank for Future Leadership", the Bank celebrated the graduation of the first batch of "Bright Stars" program to prepare and train a second generation of banking staff capable of leading the future and achieving the objectives of The Central Bank of Egypt and the Egyptian State.

The first batch includes 27 youth employees of The United Bank, either from the branches or departments of the 80 youths who applied for the training program.

In the midst of a series of rigorous tests, 27 of the bank's youth managed to pass these tests, which were conducted by the Institute of Banking, including banking rules - language tests - intelligence tests and creativity. As well as a personal interview that identifies the personality of the applicant.

The Bright Stars program is an intensive approach to youth leadership
"Bright Stars" has introduced an intensive approach to a second generation of youth capable of leading professional banking in accordance with international standards, combining professional management and banking training skills for 3 consecutive months.

This program aims to develop the skills of a group of youth leaders in the Foundation in a number of vital areas including: developing the main features of the banking personality. How to manage crises and make good decisions according to current and future data. Development of negotiation skills. Strategic planning and preparation of banking research, communication skills and financing of various types, whether for large projects, small or medium, as well as for export projects.

Basics of Islamic banks and banking transactions that comply with the provisions of the Sharia. Stock markets and their importance and how to maximize their role in the national economy. Development of banking products to meet current and future community needs. Also develop community thinking towards a non-monetary society to achieve financial inclusion, as well as the development of volunteering and social action skills for sustainable development.

The "Bright Stars" program is one of the most important strategic training programs
Speaking on the occasion of graduating the first batch of the "Bright Stars" program, Ashraf El Kady, Chairman of The United Bank, said: "I am very pleased with these youth elite of The United Bank of banking leaders in the near future, God willing, praising the outstanding level of graduates.

He added that we are keen to develop the capabilities of the team especially for their creators and provide them with the tools necessary to push the process of development and improvement and prepare a new generation of future leaders. Through training programs that are in line with the State's efforts to empower youth, build a future based on science and knowledge and drive growth and development.

Ashraf El Kady expressed his full confidence in the performance of this talented youth of the United Bank, who managed to pass the training program with results that exceeded all expectations despite its difficulties.

As for the new batch of the "Bright Stars" program, points out that during the last quarter of 2018 we are looking to announce the start of accepting a new batch of youth to join Bright Stars after passing the required tests.
