The United Bank is to launch the fourth edition of #The_Big_Family and organizes the largest interactive and virtual Iftar attended by more than 1700 employees in 18 governorates

The United Bank celebrated the largest interactive and virtual “Iftar” last week. Under the slogan of “The Big Family” attended by 1700 employees in 18 governorates all around Egypt. 

#the_big_family celebration was attended by Ashraf El Kady- The Chief Executive Officer, Farag Abdel Hamid- Deputy Managing Director, Nevine Kashmiry- Deputy Managing Director of Business Sector, Moataz El Qasabi- Deputy Managing Director. In addition to the Sharaia board members in UB, Dr. Magdy Ashour- the academic consultant of the Grand Egyptian Mufti, Dr. Amr El Wardani- Secretary of fatwa committee in Dar El Ifta, and a cohort of the top management in UB.

In a joyful atmosphere, The United Bank teamwork from 68 branches and three headquarters in the 18 governorates participated in a collective Iftar event. That was transmitted live through the video conference technology. Whereas the 18 governorates were divided into three major location: Alexandria & Marsa Matrouh, Delta & Mansoura, Upper Egypt; Minia, Suhag, and Assiut. In addition to the focal site of Cairo and Giza, all in one interactively communicate circuit regardless of the distances and geographic locations.

In his welcoming speech, Ashraf El Kady- CEO of UB, stated that UB team work had performed excellency during the five years.  He appreciated the team devotion, commitment and their faith in the importance of continual improvement and development to achieve a considerable standing in the market. 

He mentioned that UB managed to grow with its banking portfolio volume on all levels. Such as funding with its different kinds, either for individual or for corporates, Syndications and funding for national projects, large corporate syndications, SMEs. Furthermore, launching many digital banking services and solutions that fulfil the present and future needs of customers.

El Kady declared that UB works as per a working system that is based on rising the innovative and creative skills of the work team as one of the main corporate development factors. The thing that will reflect in improving the products and developing the services presented to customers. As well as, rising the corporate ability to compete in the market, and the ability to cope with economic international and local events.

He stressed that UB is keen to deepen the culture of teamwork as one of the most important keys to success. As the slogan of internal communication is “one work team…is a promising future. Which enhances the sense of loyalty and belonging to the institution. It contributes to raising productivity and ensuring the completion of tasks while providing exceptional and distinct opportunities for learning and development.

He added that the modern technology contributed in approximating distances and making people communicate easier and simpler than ever. He assured the importance of effective communications especially between the teamwork, positively reflected in skill acquisition, self-confidence, target achieving and profit maximizing.

Farag Abdel Hamid- Deputy Managing Director, stated that UB invested in the technological infrastructure to provide its customers with a very high quality digital services that works efficiently to contain the present needs of digital services of the customers. In addition to the continual development process to keep the pace these services with the latest international banking quality standards. Reassuring the distinctive role played by UB and its work team to spread the awareness of digital financial solutions.

Nevine Kashmiry- Deputy Managing Director of Business Sector, said that UB works as per a national agenda whose first target is to maximize the developmental return to accomplish integrated development. She indicated that UB and its work team are distinctive in outreaching a reliable and solid communication with all clients all over Egypt. Keeping up with the present and future challenges facing the digital banking and banking solutions. From here, the distinctive banking products engineering either traditional or sharia compliant products are provided around the clock safely and with great quality.

Moataz El Qasabi- Deputy Managing Director, stated that the human being is the first economic fortune for any society and the pillar of its social, cultural and economic progress. That is why UB’s management is keen to develop its human power.

From his side, Dr. Magdy Ashour- the academic consultant for the Egyptian Mufti and member of UB Sharia board, pointed out to the importance of UB initiatives and exerted developmental efforts that extend to cover many governorates.
