On the sidelines of the inauguration of the 67th branch and the fifth digital of The United Bank’s series of branches in the industrial zone of Gamassa, Dakahleya governorate - Ashraf El Kady - President of The United Bank - stated that the Egyptian economy is rich in opportunities for launch and sustainable development.

El Kady explained that the Egyptian state’s strategy and the economic and incentive measures it has taken over the course of the economic and development reform programs include establishing new urban communities, industrial zones and a national roads’ network and encouraging local and foreign investments, aiming to strengthen the local industry bases, improve product quality, create job opportunities and increase production. This contributes in increasing the competitiveness of Egyptian products in foreign markets and thus maximizing the volume of Egyptian exports.

Ashraf El Kady confirmed that the new Gamassa branch offers a package of banking and digital services that motivate customers to deal strongly with the banking system which increases the chances of enjoying specialized banking services for individuals or companies.

On the top comes the specialized financing solutions to increase the volume of investments for the sector of projects of all kinds and sizes, from large, medium and small industrial projects, whether with solutions according to the provisions of Sharia law or traditional banking solutions. As well as an integrated package of distinguished banking services, that will benefit the national economy and contribute to increasing local production.

In addition to the "Your Bank Online" system, which operates 24 hours 7 days a week, with the highest global technical efficiency and offers products such as: Internet banking for individuals and companies, mobile banking and digital wallets, as well as interactive ATM services, which provide multiple and advanced solutions, including: the possibility of inquiring about the creditworthiness of the moment, currencies’ exchange at the declared market price. As well as services to pay investors' immediate government obligations, including taxes and customs.

3 main axes for qualitative integration between economic activities to support the competitive advantages of each governorate.

As for the Egyptian state’s keenness to create economic integration between the governorates of the Republic, Ashraf El Kady explained that every Egyptian governorate has a competitive advantage over the rest of the governorates. So we find diversity in the nature of the governorate, from coastal, desert, agricultural or mining hinterland. So are the economic activities. This has encouraged the state to consolidate the competitive advantages of the governorates of Egypt and to create other ingredients to create a kind of economic integration that meets the objectives of comprehensive development. This is based on three main axes:

The first axis: developing and improving the performance of the economic activity of each governorate, whether industrial, tourism, agricultural or service, as well as improving the infrastructure, facilities and information technology and communications.

The second axis: extending the national roads’ network and attracting new local and foreign investments to link trade with investment. As well as establishing 114 new industrial zones in 26 governorates of the Republic, with huge investments. This is according to the report of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones.
The third axis: improving the standard of living of the Egyptian citizen, reducing the unemployment rate and inflation, and eliminating internal migration, by creating new urban communities with 4G and 5G features, as well as developing job opportunities, educational and health services, and empowering youth and women.

The inauguration ceremony of the new Gamassa branch, the 67th and fifth digital of the United Bank, was attended by a group of industry, finance leaders and businessmen: President of the Gamassa Investors Association and Vice President of the Association, as well as industrial investors who are members of the association. In addition to an elite group of statesmen: The Chairman of the Investment Authority in Gamassa and the head of the City Authority.

It is worth noting that the industrial zone in Gamassa, Dakahleya governorate, is built on an area of 727 acres divided into four stages. The number of projects in it is about 404 projects. The industrial zone in Gamassa aims to provide all aspects of support to investors aiming to attract new investments, pushing the production wheel forward and provide job opportunities for young people.
