The United Bank is to award 80 employees UB CEO’s Award- 4th edition

The award targets developing the employment efficiency and measuring the quality of corporate performance, and applying the international standards to provide a distinctive level of banking services and creating an exceptional customer experience.

For the fourth year in row, The United Bank is to award 80 distinguished employees UB CEO’s award for 2023. Aiming to encourage the distinguished, increase the corporate competencies and efficiencies, and linking the performance with the target and strategy. That is through making annual competition and movement targeting development and innovation in management, banking and technical work as per the latest international banking and digital practices. Which contributes to accomplishing distinctiveness and customer satisfaction. 

Ashraf El Kady-  Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, The United Bank honored 80 distinguished employees, in the presence of Farag Abdel Hamid- Deputy Managing Director, Nevine Kashmiry- Deputy of Managing Director for Business Sector, Moataz El Qasaby- deputy of Managing Director. In addition to the Sharaia board members in UB, Dr. Magdy Ashour- the academic consultant of the Grand Egyptian Mufti, Dr. Amr El Wardani- Secretary of fatwa committee in Dar El Ifta, and a cohort of the top management in UB.

The UB CEO’S Award 2023 targets applying many concepts: settling principles and values of distinctiveness, the quality of banking services, governance, digital technology applications, fulfilling the customers’ needs as per international standards, deepening the corporate values and enhancing the culture of social volunteering. 

The award was categorized into four categories:

1- The first: specialized for those who are distinctive on individual performance on the 68 branches level and different administrations.

2- The second: comprises digital and banking collective projects.

3- The third: innovative solutions and ideas that contribute in enhancing the quality of banking services presented to customers.

4- The fourth: contribution in cultural and social projects aiming to deepening the corporate values and enhancing the culture of volunteering.

A range of practical and personal examinations have been taken in the professional functional performance, modern banking sciences and digital applications. Those tests have shown the distinctiveness of 80 of UB employees, who are innovative and have the abilities to apply the highest level of international banking quality.

UB CEO’s Award 2023 is based on three basic axis:

The first: accomplishing UB’s strategy and vision, which are based on innovation, and motivation of innovators as a steadfast pillar for growth sustainability. 

The second: motivating those with distinguished performance on branches level and administration levels. Furthermore, attracting different segments of clients to achieve the Egyptian state and the Central Bank of Egypt vision towards transforming into cash less society and expanding the financial inclusion base.

The third: encouraging collective projects and innovative ideas for services and solutions. The thing that enhances the value of work team aiming to achieve distinctiveness, satisfaction of customers, and maximize returns.

Commenting on this annual celebration, Ashraf El Kady expressed his pleasure with the annual marathon in its fourth edition, which shows the functional, innovative, and on a managerial level movement inside UB. In order to provide distinctive level of banking services and exceptional customer experience.

The award expresses UB’s appreciation for human competencies. The thing that motivates employees with innovative visions to move forward into more and more innovations in banking services. Especially, in digital banking services.

He stated that the returns of this award all over the past years shed the light on the successful corporate and managerial experiences. Honoring competencies creates positive leading thinking in different sectors. Which contributes in developing skills and competencies.

He reassured on the importance of supporting the intensive qualifying process, either banking or technical, for those distinguished employees through training courses and specialized workshops presented by expertise in many banking and digital fields. Which will boost the corporate vision and structural work to improve innovative attitude and developing knowledge and skills of participants.
