Within the framework of the joint memorandum of understanding signed between The United Bank and The General Organization for the Development of Exports, a seminar was organized to maximize the role of Egyptian exports in the Egyptian state economy last week, as part of the processing procedures carried out by The General Authority for Export Development for the activities of the Dubai World Expo 2020.

In the presence of the representatives of 120 companies that are exporting or are actively exporting to foreign markets to learn how to subscribe to the portal for registration of companies and small and medium enterprises and individuals all over the world to participate in the Expo Dubai 2020, which is considered a golden opportunity to export Egyptian products to one of the largest Arab and international markets.

Shireen Al-Shorbagi, Chairman of The General Authority for Export Development, stressed in her opening speech the keenness of The Egyptian Authority and the Egyptian state on all its institutions to develop the Egyptian export sector, especially on small and medium enterprises, by working on three main axes are: the creation of technological infrastructure for Egyptian port- policies and procedures that ensure marketing ideal and promotion of Egyptian products worldwide - training and the expansion of Egyptian exporters base through the rehabilitation of small and medium enterprises for export in accordance with international standards setting.
