The Union of Arab Banks (UAB) has announced that The United Bank has been awarded the "Excellence for Arab Digital Banks 2018" award as part of the activities of the Forum on the Role of Telecommunications and Digital Financial Solutions in Enhancing Financial inclusion, held in Tunisa last week, under the auspices of The Central Bank of Tunisia and the Tunisian Professional Association of Banks and Financial Institutions.

Commenting on the event and winning the award, Ashraf El Kady, Chairman of The United Bank, said that UAB Award for Digital Solutions, for the second time consecutively, was the culmination of the efforts of The United Bank's ongoing team.
He added "It is a very important testimony that The United Bank is capable of competing and winning the regional and local awards in the field of banking technology and services for companies and individuals with high merit and efficiency.
El Kady said that this type of services and digital solutions are characterized by high flexibility and the ability to attract a large segment of society, especially youth.
Mustafa Abdul Hamid, Assistant Managing Director, said: "The United bank has created a range of new technological banking solutions on the market, such as wealth management and cash liquidity, as well as finance leasing and financing SME, In cooperation with I-Score, presented: the immediate query on the creditworthiness and registration in the record of the transferred guarantees.
The United Bank is one of the top ten banks in providing digital services, including electronic payments. In addition to offering a range of technological services such as: Internet banking, mobile banking and digital wallet with their high qualities.
On the infrastructure of The United Bank, Ahmed Helmy, head of the IT sector, said that the bank has registered a great advantage in its infrastructure and applications and follow up on everything new globally to meet the needs of customers in the local market
He added that The United Bank was able to get third place last year as the best banks that provide banking services technology and digital in Egypt and the Middle East. In a referendum held by The Union of Arab Banks on the sidelines of its annual conference under the title "Innovations of financial technology and the future of banking services."
