The Arab Media Center in the annual conference of “El Nass wa el Bnouk” was awarded the "financial and banking award" award to Ashraf El Kady, Chairman of The United Bank for outstanding banking performance.
Ashraf El Kady expressed his happiness with this award, which placed The United Bank in a distinguished position in the Egyptian market. The award was a catalyst for the bank's team to make more effort and give the community.
He added that the experience of The United Bank as one of the Egyptian banks in the transformation to a digital bank took two years and the development process is continuing.
Planning to build teamwork
El Kady added that it was a priority planning to build a generation capable of dealing with the changes of financial technology and raising the efficiency of the team. That is because working in digital banking will require more expansion and openness to global financial technology.
As a result we direct employees to the creative side, developing traditional banking services, expanding innovative financing solutions to include community segments, and devising non-traditional financing tools such as: group financing, support for Egyptian exports, local product, and banking consultancy.
The bank has a series of digital achievements
It worth mentioning, that The United Bank took third place in a regional referendum on the best banks to provide services and digital financial technology solutions in 2018 conducted by Arab Banking Union.
The United Bank became one of the top 10 banks in the provision of digital services, including: electronic payments. In addition to offering a range of technological services such as: Internet banking and mobile banking with their high qualities. As well as cash flow management through corporate Internet banking, finally the digital wallet.
Ashraf El Kady said that the bank has created a number of new technological banking solutions on the market, such as wealth management and cash liquidity, as well as finance leasing and financing of small, medium and micro enterprises. In cooperation with I-Score, the bank provided a service: instantaneous query on creditworthiness and registration in the movable warranties register.
Nile Pioneers Initiative
Ashraf EL Kady praised the initiative of The National Nile Leaders, in which The United Bank participates in financing innovative projects and innovative ideas for Egyptian youth. The initiative aims to support innovative minds in the field of financial technology and artificial intelligence.
