Sustainable partnership for 60% of the annual training plan

Ashraf El Kady- The president of The United Bank announces that the Egyptian Banking Institute possesses more than 60% of UB annual training plan, with 121.871 training hours provided to 17.428 banker. That was on the sidelines of UB participation in the conference of “The Evolution of Banks: Unlocking the Full Potential”. In its 10th edition, organized by The Egyptian Banking Institute taking two days, sponsored by Tarek Amer- Governor of The Central Bank of Egypt.

El Kady mentioned that this partnership march with The Egyptian Banking Institute “EBI” has begun since The United Bank establishment . And resulted in 121.871 training hours provided to a number of 17.428 trainee. That was through 520 specialized training course, including direct training and e- learning.

Year 2021 comes on the top of years yielded training hours and training courses. As the training hours provided to UB team have reached up to 20.099 training hours for 1955 bankers.

The provided UB training courses came at the top were: Future leadership programs, The High Fliers, The Banking Institute Program for Banking leadership in collaboration with Harvard Business School. As well as, digital transformation programs, financial inclusion programs. Besides, specialized language signs for disables programs. And also, electronic training courses “e-learning”, which expands the direct training systems and opens a wider field for specialized and sustainable learning.

El Kady added that UB cooperates with large number of local and international training institutions, such as: Developers for training and consultancy, ESLSCA University, The AUC, The American Chamber in Egypt, Union of Arab Banks, Federation of Egyptian Banks. UB will also collaborate with Phishrod-ICT Misr in cyber security and anti- phishing.

Commenting on the sustainable partnership journey between UB and EBI, Ashraf El Kady stated that the educational process needs an intellectual revolution. The sustainable learning process is regarded as a national security case in the New Republics . As it directly affects developing and qualifying the human resources. That is the real capital of the Egyptian State with all its institutions.

El Kady added that this intellectual revolution in education must be within an integrated strategic and visionary framework, that aims to changing the society culture, where educational and training processes become a lifestyle to build a modern citizen  and enhance his/her skills.

Ashraf El Kady made it clear that UB strategy is based on ensuring training opportunities, practical and scientific qualification with the largest training institutions. As well as, building firm work relationships among different ages and functional levels. Besides, youth participation and granting them real opportunities to innovate, especially, in implementing corporate strategies, the thing that creates more qualifying chances for the second generation leadership to be promoted and appointed senior offices.
