The United Bank and The Egyptian Banking Institute, are to launch the first series of e-learning programs, as part of the implementation of an integrated electronic training plan in various banking fields. This is due to the belief in the importance of raising the efficiency and skills of its team and maximizes its performance for the success of the institution.
The first program, which is specialized in the field of "Anti-money laundering/ Terrorist Financing", provides training for 500 employees of the Bank's staff. They were selected to represent the various departments and branches of the 54 at the level of the Republic, as a first stage. The program relies on mixing the nature of text written and operative and visual.
How the e-learning program works
The trainee, directly from his office, and from his computer, attends the training program and listens to the trainer explanation and participates in dialogues and discussions directly on the scientific material and experiences presented. And then performs tests for the program, also through his office and through the same computer. Upon passing the training course, The Egyptian Banking Institute will send the approved electronic certificate to pass this course successfully. The trainee is also entitled to update his / her information on the same training program within the period of time the program is available to The United Bank.
Commenting on the launch of the first series of E-Learning courses, Ashraf El-Kady, Chairman of The United Bank, said that this type of education contributes to providing better educational, training and professional opportunities for the development of the team's skills through a self-learning model.
Figures and global indicators for the growth of e-Learning
The figures and global indicators point to the growth of training and education increasingly e-Learning process. According to the recently announced International Training Federation, which included nearly 50,000 professionals. Where figures indicate that the volume of revenues from the training sector in the world annually amounted to about 2 billion dollars.
El-Kady added that e-learning broadens the direct and specialized training approach of the bank's staff. Through direct contact between the trainer and the trainee without an intermediary, this allows him to focus on developing the capacity of the trainee professionally, where technology plays a significant role in this regard.
As for the strategy of maximizing the performance of The United Bank's team, Ashraf El Kady said that the strategy of The United Bank is to provide training and rehabilitation opportunities scientifically and practically with major international and local training institutions, headed by The Egyptian Banking Institute. In addition to working to build strong working relationships between various functional and age levels, and to ensure the participation of youth and give them the opportunity to innovate in the implementation of the strategies of the institution. Thus creating a higher chance for leaders of the second generation to advance and assume leadership positions.

Ashraf El Kady pointed out that e-education is one of the mechanisms of eco-friendly education, in order to reduce the use of paper and writing tools of pens and equipment, as well as reducing the environmental damage caused by the process of disposal of these materials.
It is worth mentioning that The Institute of Banking launched the e-learning service within its strategy for the year 2018 through a team that has the technical and scientific skills necessary to build the electronic training content. As well as the establishment of an integrated digital training studio for photography and recording content-related training programs.
The strategy of The Egyptian Institute of Banking is to provide training and educational services to all bankers using the latest electronic education techniques in The Arab Republic of Egypt.
