In order to encourage the distinguished youth of Egypt's athletes, The United Bank sponsors the Egyptian Squash Club Championship 2017.

In a national initiative for the welfare of Egyptian youth, the United Bank sponsored the Egyptian Squash Club Championship, which will be held from 4 to 10 October 2017 at the Egyptian Fishing Club - 6th of October branch with the participation of 1000 players in the Republic. In order to support the distinguished Egyptian players in various games, whether individual or collective.

On the choice of squash sport, Nefin Kashmiri points out that this sport has become a major popular base in Egypt, especially after Egypt has managed to win many titles both locally and internationally over the past years.

The last was 2016, when Noor Al Sherbini won the Women's World Championship for the first time in England, and was named Cleopatra Squash. Karim Abdel Gawad won the Men's World Championship in Egypt. 6 Egyptian players among the top 10 players in the world

Neven Kashmiri added that there are 6 Egyptian players among the top 10 squash players in the world, both men and women. Egypt has also adopted a global campaign to include squash in the Olympic Games to enter the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

She explained that the Egyptian Squash Club Championship 2017 is just the beginning of more cooperation between the United Bank and the Egyptian clubs at the level of the Republic.

The 2017 Squash Club Championship is one of the biggest tournaments in Egypt. For the first time this year, a giant glass stadium will be set up in the club, as well as other facilities for 10 world-class stadiums.

History of squash sport
