The United Bank announced its participation in 2026 Sacrificial Bond (Suk Al-Adhiya) Campaign, in cooperation with major charitable organizations and community development institutions. This comes as part of its ongoing efforts to reinforce the values of social solidarity and mutual support, particularly during the blessed Eid Al-Adha season and throughout the year.

This participation aligns with The United Bank’s corporate social responsibility strategy, which aims to support humanitarian and developmental initiatives that contribute to improving quality of life and expanding social protection for underprivileged families across all governorates.

Customers and non-customers can purchase sacrificial bonds through The United Bank’s 68 branches spread across the country, or via the bank’s digital channels available 24/7, including Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, and the Digital Wallet.

Features of the Sacrificial Bond (Suk Al-Adhiya)

The Sacrificial Bond offers several key advantages, presenting a cooperative social model that enables the practice of religious rituals through an organized and civilized approach. The bond allows for greater utilization of sacrificial meat and ensures its distribution to eligible beneficiaries across all Egyptian governorates during the days of Eid Al-Adha in the case of local sacrificial bonds. As for imported sacrificial bonds, distribution continues throughout the year.

The United Bank’s philosophy of feeding underprivileged and vulnerable groups is based on sustainability and fairness in distribution throughout the year, not only during seasonal occasions such as the holy month of Ramadan and Eid Al-Adha. Therefore, the Sacrificial Bond Program has been continuously developed to operate year-round through the Food Bond Program and ready-to-eat meal box initiatives.

The United Bank also emphasized the importance of integration between the banking sector and community work in supporting sustainable development efforts and promoting a culture of positive participation and solidarity within Egyptian society, leaving a direct and meaningful impact on citizens’ lives.
