The United Bank launched food convoys for hundreds of the neediest families in 6 Egyptian governorates, in cooperation with the “Sonaa Khir” Good Makers Civil Foundation as a part of The United Bank’s plan to provide food security to support those who are unable to do so during the holy Ramadan.

The United Bank’s work team contributed in packing food cartoons bearing the logo of UB in feed hundreds of families in 6 Egyptian governorates: Cairo, Assiut, Luxor, South Sinai, El Wadi Elgdeed, and Qaliobia. Ramadan cartons include rice, oil, beans, cowpea, flour, ghee, flour, tea, sugar, dates, cheese, and dates, items needed to feed families in Ramadan.

Ashraf Al Kady- The president of UB expressed that food convoys reflects a fundamental part of UB corporate values in extending a hand, relief, and to support the needy and spreading, especially in the holy month of Ramadan through the administration of Ethar for community development.

Al Kady added that voluntary and solidarity work is strongly built within the culture and formations in UB formation, as development activities come within an integrated system of social development work that are managed with modern thought and technique that aim to achieve the principle of social solidarity that is urged by all monotheistic religions.

He pointed out that these symbiotic activities carried out by the UB work team are to promote thought and development activity within the work environment and outside the boundaries of the institution. The thing that reflects the human values in giving to eliminate the problem of hunger, which is regarded a global humanitarian tragedy.
