The United Bank and Journalists Syndicate sign a cooperation protocol to finance 1108 social housing units

Today, the Journalists Syndicateand The United Bank signed a cooperation protocol to finance 1108 housing units in the social housing fund and the real estate financing support for the members of the Journalists Syndicate within the initiative of The Central Bank of Egypt to finance limited and medium income issued on February 19 2014 aiming to stimulate the real estate market and pushes the national economy wheel.

in the presence of Nevine Kashmiri - Deputy Managing Director for Business Sectors, Rehab Azmy - Senior General Manager of the Retail Banking and Branches Sector, Ayman Mohamed - Head of Real Estate Finance Sector, Ashraf Darwish - Vice President of the Real Estate Finance Sector, and Germien Amer - Head of corporate Communication at The United Bank and a group of journalists and the United Bank’s team
Diaa Rashwan - the president of the Journalists syndication; commenting on the signing of the cooperation protocol; says that signing this protocol came as a continuation of the fruitful cooperation between the Syndicate of Journalists and The United Bank since 2017.
Emphasizing that the protocol will achieve a range of benefits at the national economy and social level, with the financing and service facilities it provides to the masses of journalists who are members of the syndicate allowing them to provide adequate housing with affordable cost and pay on favorable terms.
From his side, Ashraf El Kady, Chairman of The United Bank; stated that signing the protocol comes within The United Bank's policy to strengthen the process of cooperation with the media and journalists as partners of success, as well as achieving the goals of sustainable development 2030, whose main focus is on the Egyptian citizen.
El Kady added that The United Bank offers many advantages within the framework of the real estate finance initiative approved by The Central Bank of Egypt and supported by the Social Housing Fund to face financing challenges, considering that the economic situation is changing for the better and became more stable and optimistic supported by the awareness of the political leadership to meet the needs of citizens in all sectors to provide safe and decent housing suitable for the Egyptian citizen.
Ashraf El Kady expressed that the real estate sector is one of the important engines of the Egyptian economic development because it is directly and indirectly linked to more than 35 industries, in addition to its contributions in expanding the base of financial inclusion and supporting the state and The Central Bank of Egypt plans for the transformation to a cashless society and the integration of the informal economy in the formal one, the inclusive and the sustainable development.
Ashraf El Kady praised the successes achieved under the initiatives of the Central Bank of Egypt in the state different sectors, including the real estate sector; and finding appropriate solutions to cope with all the conditions facing the country and the world at the mean time.
The United Bank is considered one of the pioneer banks to activate the initiative of the Central Bank of Egypt for middle income, immediately after issuing it and applying all the terms of the initiative to our customers.
Regarding the package of digital solutions provided by the United Bank, El Kady indicates that the bank is one of the distinguished banks in providing digital services, that allow the customer to perform all his financial transactions 24 hours, 7 days a week through the services of "Your Bank Online", like the internet banking, mobile banking and digital wallet in addition to more than 220 automatic teller machines spread all over the governorates of the Republic.
