Within the framework of the United Bank’s deep belief of the importance of working with positivity towards a better environment for the life. The United Bank had many of the positive contributions in the awareness deployment field which is necessary for environment preservation and protection in Egypt.

 Egypt by her nature it possesses many of the environmental rare factors nevertheless at the same Egypt suffers from dangerous environmental problems and the most important of them are the water and air pollution also the sanitation problems. And the arrogance of these problems is related to the non presence of the enough national awareness for the environment preservation.

Therefore the United Bank took within its priorities the support of the social work system as a task for help and support all exerted efforts for overcoming the greatest environmental challenges that face the environment in Egypt.

So that the first step was sponsoring many scientific conferences that discuss the environmental issues and challenges and present the new styles which are followed internationally for the solution of these problems.

Also formed an environmental committee consists of the seniors employees of the United Bank and its main task was studying and following up all new developments that occur on the global and local arena which are related to the environmental problems whether in Egypt or in worldwide, in particular in developing countries.

In 1999 there were many environmental huge activities which the United Bank participated in them, for example: the environment project in Egypt in 1999 that was discussing the change technology in Egypt. Also the seminar that covered the effect of the bricks factories on the environment. And that was established in Dakahlia governorate in May of the same year.

Also the United Bank has organized a conference for one day about the problems of financing authorities and the societies that work in the environment preservation field. And the importance of the civil role that this civil enterprise carries out is the national awareness deployment of the environmental problems.

Besides the participation of 15 % in the universality company for environment preservation and it is considered one of the pioneer companies in the consultations field and the environmental services in Egypt.

Also the committee members shared in many conferences, the local and the international gatherings that discuss the environmental problems.

The United Bank will continue its steps towards a better environment through sponsoring the environment project - Egypt 99 and also through help and support the efforts of the country, individuals and organizations in preservation environment field.
